Fire 1 is based on a 1972 Holden utility. It has served the squad in a number of capacities including chase vehicle and rapid intervention unit on many Victorian and Interstate race tracks. It has also served an illustrious career as a primary response unit at speedway meetings in Victoria including World Series Sprintcars, Speedcar National Titles and a number of State and National titles in various categories. Fire 1 is now retired and sits proudly on display at the Philip Island Grand Prix Museum.
